This pole is directed by Hugues Périnet-Marquet, Law Professor at Panthéon-Assas (Paris II) University.

Missions

The Property Law pole deals with issues related to property law in general (except intellectual property law which is dealt with in another specific pole) and urban buildings (since there is also a specific Rural Law pole).

It gathers the following fields: land law (property, rights in rem, collective property), construction law (contract and tort), town and country planning law (except its environmental dimension that is dealt with by another pole).

Hugues Perinet-Marquet is a Law Professor at the University of Panthéon-Assas (Paris II). He is the Chairman of the French society for Construction Law, member of the commission on co-ownership (ministry of justice). He is also expert attached to the Commission of European Communities (D.G. III, 1992-1995), and chairman of the working group of society H Capitant on the reform of real estate law (2006-2008).
He is the director of the jurisclasseur for Construction and town planning law and member of the editorial team of the building operations journal. He is author of the following chronicles : real estate law (Semaine Juridique); Construction law (répertoire Défrénois); Undertaking (revue de droit immobilier) ; property (Constitution journal).
